The Fanatec ClubSport Formula V3 is a versatile formula steering wheel for sim racers who want a wide range of controls at their fingertips. The 290-mm diameter ensures a natural driving position and greater comfort, while the 5-mm-thick carbon-fiber front plate provides a sturdy and responsive build.

Nine RGB RevLEDs and six RGB FlagLEDs are arranged around the 2.7-inch OLED display. These are used to display, among other things, engine RPM, optimal shift point, flag signals, and other supported telemetry data. Using Intelligent Telemetry Mode, the display can show various data pages.

The magnetic aluminum shift paddles provide a distinct click and quick shifting action. With eleven push buttons, two 7-way FunkySwitches, three 12-position rotary switches, and two thumb encoders, key functions can be easily adjusted while riding.

The ClubSport Formula V3 is compatible with compatible Fanatec wheelbases, including the CSL DD, Gran Turismo DD Pro, ClubSport DD, ClubSport DD+, Podium DD1, Podium DD2, and Podium DD. On Windows PCs, compatibility depends on the support provided by the game being used. PlayStation compatibility is possible when used with a Fanatec wheelbase officially licensed for PlayStation. The steering wheel is not compatible with Xbox.

Full functionality of the LEDs, the OLED display, and the telemetry features depends on support from the simulation software being used. The pre-installed magnetic shift paddles can be replaced with the separately available Podium Advanced Paddle Module. The steering wheel comes standard with QR2, but can also be converted for use with QR1.
