Who We Are

Our website address is: https://shop.build4performance.com.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string generated from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. You can find the Gravatar service’s privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible alongside your comment.

Media

When uploading images to the site, you should avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract all location data from images on the site.

Cookies

When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose whether your name, email address, and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter this information when you leave another comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

When you visit our login page, we store a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted as soon as you close your browser.

When you log in, we’ll also set a few cookies to save your login information and your screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen settings cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will be saved for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies are deleted.

When you edit or publish a post, your browser stores an additional cookie. This cookie does not contain any personal data; it only contains the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires after one day.

Embedded content from other sites

Posts on this site may contain embedded content (such as videos, images, posts, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited that other site.

These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including recording your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

Who We Share Your Information With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

When you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata are stored permanently. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of having to moderate them.

For users who register on our site (if available), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights you have regarding your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including all the data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal data we hold about you. This excludes any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked using an automated spam detection service.
