The VPG Sim Porsche 911 Cup Steering Wheel was developed in collaboration with Porsche and is based on the steering wheel of the Porsche 911 Cup (992.2). The steering wheel made its global debut alongside the new Cup race car and is officially licensed by Porsche.

The housing and front plate are manufactured at the same production facility as the actual racing wheel, using motorsport-grade pre-preg carbon fiber. Although the design is derived directly from motorsports, this version was developed specifically for use in a simulator.

With a diameter of 309 mm and a weight of just 1,030 grams, the mass inertia remains exceptionally low. This allows the wheelbase to respond more quickly and conveys subtle force-feedback details more clearly to the driver. The ergonomically placed buttons, dials, and switches are easily accessible even during intense races.

The four rotary knobs can be configured as multi-position switches or encoders. Using SimHub and the VPG Sim Suite, the functions and RGB lighting can be customized as desired. Each pushbutton features four RGB LEDs, while 24 individually controllable LEDs are arranged around each rotary switch. The steering wheel connects directly to the PC via a single USB cable and therefore works independently of the wheelbase brand. For mounting, quick-release mounts with a 50.8 mm bolt circle are supported. Mounting on a 70 mm bolt circle is possible with the separately available VPG Wheel Hub and corresponding adapter.

A wheelbase and quick-release mechanism are not included as standard. The handlebar comes standard with magnetic shift paddles and can be upgraded with the optional VPG clutch module. Depending on the model you choose, Duo-Mode Paddles can also be added. For a stable connection, VPG recommends connecting the steering wheel to a powered USB hub located as close as possible to the wheelbase.
