The Fanatec Podium DD is a powerful direct-drive wheelbase designed for demanding sim racers, professional drivers, and commercial simulator setups. With a constant torque of 25 Nm and a brief peak of up to 33 Nm, it accurately conveys both subtle details and heavy steering forces.

The second-generation direct-drive motor utilizes Fanatec’s FluxBarrier technology and an optimized rotor design. This ensures efficient, smooth, and direct force feedback. FullForce adds high-frequency vibrations, allowing supported simulations to convey, among other things, engine characteristics, road surface details, and the onset of loss of traction.

The all-aluminum construction and passive cooling ensure that the wheelbase can deliver its maximum power over extended periods. The Podium DD comes standard with the QR2 Base-Side Type-F and an optional 10-cm axle extension.

The Fanatec Podium DD is compatible with Windows PCs. Xbox compatibility is possible when using a Fanatec steering wheel officially licensed for Xbox. The wheelbase is not compatible with PlayStation. The wheelbase supports Fanatec steering wheels with QR2, Fanatec Universal Hubs, the Podium Hub, and compatible pedals, shifters, and handbrakes from the Fanatec ecosystem.

*Important to know

Due to its high torque, the Podium DD must be securely mounted on a compatible simulator frame. FullForce effects are only available in simulations that support this technology. Using the included shaft extension, the steering wheel can be positioned 10 cm further forward. This allows the monitor to be mounted lower and closer to the driver.
